Bound in nineteenth century full red levant morocco, boards triple-ruled in gilt, spines paneled, ruled, and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, gilt board edges and turn-ins, pink endleaves, original cloth bound-in at rear of each volume (spines a bit toned, soiled, some wear to joints, some light wear, soiling to boards, half-title of volume I a bit loose, gutter after this leaf is cracked, some occasional light thumbsoiling or foxing in text). Very good. MIXED LATER EDITIONS (First Series - Fifth Edition; Second Series and Third Series both Tenth Editions.) A handsome copy of this collection of ghost stories, myths, and legends.
