Very good. FIRST EDITION, WITH A FRONT PANEL OF A DUST JACKET AFFIXED TO FP. Ownership signature of Sarah Mortimer (dated May 1923) on the ffep, with some ink from the signature bleeding onto the facing dust jacket panel. At the time, Fitzgerald had told his editor, Max Perkins, that this book was “undoubtedly the best thing I have ever written.” Fitzgerald’s next book was The Great Gatsby (1925).
