Fine. FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING, OF THIS INFLUENTIAL NOVEL, ONE OF THE CAUSES OF THE CIVIL WAR; VOLUME I WITH AN AUTOGRAPH NOTE SIGNED BY STOWE TIPPED IN. In addition, each volume has an original manuscript slave purchase contract (Alabama, 1842 and South Carolina, 1788) tipped-in (contracts folded, toned, worn).
