The first acknowledgement on the dedication page reads, “I wish in particular to proffer my gratitude to my consigliere, Max Maven, for more than ten years of a productive an exhilarating collaboration.” The title page carries the credit line “accompanied by Max Maven” below Slaight’s as compiler and writer.
