Levitation Illusion. Las Vegas: Ayala F/X, 2000s. Sturdily built metal apparatus used to simulate the appearance of a levitation. The performer stands on the ground looking up at his assistant, who floats in mid-air in a standing (or possibly seated) position. Used for publicity photo purposes (and not in live performance), and as featured in images used to promote many headlining shows, as well as in the Latin American edition of People magazine; similar to apparatus designed for Siegfried & Roy, Lance Burton, and other well-known magicians. Heavy welded metal construction. Third party transportation required.
