Near fine. FIRST EDITION, FIRST STATE OF BOOK (with “signing” for “singing” on p. 231, 3 blanks inserted at front, but none in the rear, and no colophon on title-page) SECOND STATE OF DUST JACKET (with the Brooklyn Eagle blurb on the front panel). This is Dos Passos’ first major novel, and a classic of war (World War I) realism.
