HELLER, Robert (William H. Palmer, 1829 – 78). Autographed Note Signed. Hand dated August 16, 1878 and inked on Heller's stiff printed pale blue notecard, the text, entirely in the hand of the famous comedic magician, describes costumes for his wife and other requirements for his imminent departure to Liverpool. He writes, in part, “Black waistcoat – Oak Box – No cover – Miss H. dressed as a Boy – Trousers & blouse with belt – Séance Bus[isness?] by Dale." He goes on to implore his correspondent to rush him a set of photographs. 3 ½ x 4 ¾". A SCARCE autograph.
