JEANS, Walter C. (Walter Janes, 1877 – 1942). Four Pieces of Jeans Ephemera. Including two versions of a small poster first published in The Performer (Christmas Number) for 1918 titled My Head and Hands Against the World (one crudely reinforced with tape to verso); a RPPC bearing a bust portrait of Jeans with divided back and postally unused; and an elaborate prospectus for his illusion entitled Blown to Atoms. The largest 14 ½ x 9 7/8". A good group related to this creative performer and the inventor of the Million Dollar Mystery illusion.
