Rabbit Tray from the Harry Blackstone Show. Circa 1950s. Wooden frame with canvas compartment for concealing a rabbit, the main prop in one of Blackstone’s signature stage feats in which a box of candy changed into a live rabbit, with the original inventory/luggage label affixed to one side, reading: “From the Blackstone Show/October 1956.” Accompanied by a dramatic matte-finish onstage portrait of the magician (11 ¾ x 10 ¼”) by Charles Reynolds, mounted to black display board. Needs cloth sides. Similar in description to George Hippisley List B1171.
