COLLINS, Stanley (1881 – 1966). Stanley Collins' Miser's Dream Props. For the perennially-popular effect of producing apparently endless amounts of money from mid-air. Including 23 well-worn Gilbert Stout palming coins in a screw-top metal container, and a shallow metal tray onto which the coins were deposited when produced from apparently empty hands. Tray diameter 6". With a note in Dr. Edwin Dawes' hand stating, “Stanley Collins / Miser's Dream Coins & Tray / From: Margaret Collins 1966."Collins' facility with coins was so great that an entire chapter of Bobo's seminal work on coin magic was devoted to his routines. When dropped on the tray from even a short height, the coins make a very loud clatter.
