Group of Nearly 65 Handbills and 2 Calendars for the Legendary New York Gay Nightclub, Jackie 60. [1990s]. Handbills on cardstock, most double-sided. Calendars are photocopied and staple-bound, for the years 1994, 1996. Some of the handbills are for various performers or special events, including: The House of Domination, The Debutante's Ball, Lipstick Traces, The Travellers, Butch Beatles, All About Edie, Stalag 60, The Vampyres of Fashion, School's Out, The Cabaret Voltaire, David Bailey's London, The Brown Party, Candy! Tease, and more. Jackie 60 was one of the preeminent gay nightclubs of New York City in the 1990s, hosting various events and performers. Most 8 ½ x 5 ¾". Light rubbing, toning to handbills (several duplicates for some handbills), calendars soiled, worn. Handbills are fine, calendars are good.
