Millet Vase and Barrel. German, ca. 1880s. Millet seed in a small wooden barrel vanishes, then reappears in a matching turned boxwood vase – or vice versa – at the magician’s command. Vase 3 ½”. Gimmick present yet sticky, millet needs replacing. Very good.
