Morrell’s Return to Karnac. London: Ken Brooke’s House of Veroni, ca. 1950. A wooden mummy figure is removed from a temple and placed on display some distance away in a “museum.” The mummy is covered with a cloth, and when this is removed, in the mummy’s place is a cobra. The mummy has then returned to the temple. Elaborately decorated. Largest piece 15 ¼” high. Good. Uncommon.
