[DOOMSDAY CULT]. Aum Shinrikyo/Aleph Ephemera Collection. Circa 1990s. A collection of scarce material relating to the Japanese doomsday cult, Aum Shinrikyo or Aleph. Including more than 20 pages from a Japanese newspaper documenting the cult's hijacking of a plane with copious images and text, two laminated photographs of Shoko Asahara, the cult's leader, in meditation. Together with an unused ruled notebook bearing the cult's name, logo, and messaging and a handbill for a radio broadcast from Asahara. Notebook 10 x 7". Very good overall; newspaper with original folds and some perimeter toning.
