Houdini, Harry (Ehrich Weisz). Group of Seven Glass Photo Negatives Owned by Houdini. Atlantic City Orpheum Theater, Restraints, Hardeen Broadsides. Housed in the original storage box annotated by Houdini in ink, “1906/Houdini in Atlantic City,” comprising: three plates of Houdini in Atlantic City (5 x 7”), the first depicting Houdini with four other men in front of the Orpheum, the two others depicting the theater entrance and marquee with posters for Houdini; a negative depicting three Hardeen broadsides posted to the side of a building (5 x 4”); and three yellow-tinted negatives (5 x 7”) of various restraints and handcuffs.
