Cigar Store Indian Cast Iron Painted Figure on Base. Painted (recent repaint) figure of a man in headdress holding up his right arm to shield his eyes. Figure 61" high; figure on base 64 ½" high. Base is 16 x 17" around the bottom. Some rubbing, wear, his feet were repainted as moccasins. Very good. This figure was part of a collection of similar figures that were displayed outside one of Wisconsin Dells' most popular souvenir shops, The Uptown Trading Post, and were displayed in front of this store for many years. With 2 press photos of this figure outside of the store (with earlier paint job), circa 1940s-50s. Customer pick-up or third party shipping required.
