Pair of Pre-Prohibition Whiskey Crates including: “Chicken Cock Whiskey." G. G. White Co., 1917. Wooden crate (lid is missing, no bottles included) with 3 sides stamped in black or red, one side in black (with remnants of tax certificate). 16 x 12 x 12". Worn, soiled, a few cracks, some remnants of stickers. Very good. And: “Green River Whiskey." Green River Distilling Co., 1917. 3 sides stamped in green, one side stamped in black (tiny fragments of tax certificates). 17 ½ x 13 x 12". Worn, soiled, a few cracks. A pair of rare pre-Prohibition crates.
