Buddy “L" Outdoor Railroad Steam Shovel Car. East Moline, IL: Moline Pressed Steel Co., [ca. 20th century]. Painted steel railroad car with steam shovel (no rigging). Label on back of car beneath the cab of the steam shovel on the lower platform. 21" long, 15" high. Decal on each side of car. With a pair of chains and hooks at front, 4 pull-out “rails" (one rail seems stuck and doesn't come out) with levers. 2 spring-loaded wheels at bottom. Light wear, soiling, a few areas of apparent paint correction. Decals chipped. Very good.
