Fine. FIRST EDITION OF BURGOYNE'S JUSTIFICATION ABOUT HIS CONDUCT DURING THE 1777 CAMPAIGN AND HIS DEFEAT AT SARATOGA. In this work, Burgoyne relates that his army was half of the size that he demanded, and was badly supplied. This is considered to be the best first-hand account of the Battle of Saratoga, one of the most decisive American victories in the Revolutionary War.
