Very good. SECOND EDITIONS OF THESE RARE ACCOUNTS OF NAVIGATION. Commander Alexander Bridport Becher worked for the Hydrographic Office of the Admiralty and wrote several navigation and nautical surveying works. He also founded the Nautical Magazine in 1832 and edited it until his retirement in 1871. An important 19 th century navigational guide through the West Indies and Africa, especially along the coasts of South America and the West Indies. Plus the advantages and disadvantages of various routes to and from China and its ports, Japan, Australia, etc.
