Lindbergh December 1934"; “Anne Morrow Lindbergh". Laid-in is a tattered stationery envelope from the Lindbergh's home in Long Barn Weald-Sevenoaks (Kent, U.K.), addressed to John Zwick. Zwick, a member of the Rockefeller Institute, corresponded with the Lindberghs frequently during this period about a heart pump that they and the institute were developing in order to save the life of Anne's sister, Elisabeth. This article is about a series of flights around the North Atlantic made by the Lindberghs. With a COA from RRAuctions. Offered with a small commemorative plaque of “The Spirit of St. Louis" (not the plane used in the exploration of the North Atlantic).
