[NASA MEMORABILIA]. Group of 30 Color or Black and White NASA or Soviet Space Press Photos. [V.p., ca. 1960s-70s]. Mainly 8 x 10" photos of various scenes from the NASA or Soviet space programs, some with captions or inkstamps on versos. Photos including the Mercury program (these seem to be later prints), various rocket launches, test launch of the MSC-WSMR launch pad abort system, support equipment, moon scenes, astronaut Walt Cunningham in front of his jet with two unidentified men, 4 black and white photos showing Soviet Cosmonauts in offices or labs. Perhaps the most interesting photo in this group is a press photo from the Daily Mail (16 Mar 1960) showing the size comparison between Nelson's Column and the Soviet Sputnik Rocket (photo approximately 12 x 9 ¾", worn, soiled, marginal tears).
