Color print of Von Braun's cutaway concept of a huge booster rocket with multiple stages. Matted. Sight approximately 10 ¼ x 7 ¾". Mat approximately 14 x 11 ¼". Fine. With a transparency of the same image, this one with captions in German pointing out parts of the rocket. Approximately 11 x 8 ½" total size. Fine. This early concept sketch depicts an enormous rocket, which was later rejected by Von Braun as being impractical. This image was depicted in Von Braun's book, Man on the Moon (1953).
