Maskelyne’s Mysteries Program Collection. London, 1912—1951. Twenty-six souvenir programs featuring Maskelyne’s Mysteries at St. George’s Hall. There are five Maskelyne and Devant programs ranging from 1912 to 1917, with a great variety of magicians on the bills. The balance of the collection is composed of Maskelyne’s Mysteries programs, as well as one London Palladium program featuring Jasper Maskelyne. Programs feature Nicola, De Biere, Charles Morritt, Cecil Lyle, Edward Victor, Lewis Davenport, Robert Harbin, and others. “Will, the Witch and the Watchman” is featured in a January, 1917 program.
