Cardini (Richard Valentine Pitchford). Group of Cardini Ephemera. 1960s. Glossy 8 x 10” photo showing Cardini fanning a deck of cards while Swan stands nearby, bearing a note by Swan on the verso: “He changed to full dress on our first tour of Orpheum circuit in 1927…”; Christmas card signed “With Love/Swan + Dick”; magazine clipping with Cardini’s annotations; and a performance photograph of The Florences with a lengthy note on verso from Cardini in which he accuses Frakson of plagiarizing, stating “This is the act that Frakson stole from.” Condition very good overall.
