Handwritten letter from Tarbell in which he offers consolation to Fox after his suicide attempt, writing “Forget about the mental accident to your wrists. You were not responsible…I’ve had that same fever myself and know what it does…Give the world your clever creations…After all it is your spirit + heart + mind that really counts + you are TOPS.” Includes a studio photograph of Fox; snapshot of Fox with an unknown man; mass card from Fox’s funeral; and four sheets of Fox’s paper tear effect.
