[WALLENDA, Beppo and Mary]. Photo Album of Nearly 150 Snapshots, Postcards, etc. [V.p., ca. 1930s-50s]. 4to album. Black and white snapshots, photos and a few postcards, nearly all mounted onto black pages many with handwritten captions in white ink. Sizes range from approximately 1 ½ x 2" to 10 x 8". Album full textured leather (spine perished, tape repairs at spine, binding worn, soiled, scuffed). An excellent collection, despite the poor condition of the album. Album of photos featuring famous European clown Beppo and his wife, an acrobat; photos of Beppo “clowning around," animal acts, wild west acts, various performers (aerialists, animal trainers, sideshow acts, etc.) and even a funeral.
