Enchanted Caddy. Circa 1870. Hardwood cabinet with three compartments and lids used to vanish, produce, or transpose items between the compartments. Said to be a progenitor of the Die Box. See Willmann, Moderne Salon Magie, at p. 359 and the Martinka 1885 catalog, at page 39.
