Original black cloth, gilt–lettered spine; original unclipped (“$2.00") dust jacket (binding rubbed, lightly soiled, some offsetting, foxing to endleaves, edge of text block a bit soiled, some pages with offsetting; jacket verso with tape reinforcements and repair, jacket spine toned, chipped, jacket generally worn, soiled with a few chips, tears). Very good. FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING, without the headbands that are present in the later 1965 offset edition and is also slightly shorter (17.2 cm).
