Cloth bumped, rear panel spotted, else very good. A chapter of the book is devoted to the “gambling hells” of Chicago. The folding map shows the nineteenth precinct of Chicago’s first ward, noting the locations of brothels, pawnbrokers, and saloons. Sold with: Chicago by Gaslight and Chicago and its Cess-Pools of Infamy, by Samuel Paynter Wilson, both dealing with similar subjects, 8vos in printed boards, and in good condition.
