Fine. FIRST TRADE EDITION, EARLIEST ISSUE OF THE PUBLISHER' ADS. Laid-in is an order form from Methuen, dated “Spring 1905." De Profundis is a letter written by Wilde while he was incarcerated at Reading Gaol. It is addressed to his friend and lover, Lord Alfred Douglas, for whom Wilde was charged with “Gross Indecency."
