[MAGIC TRICKS & GIMMICKS] The Amazing Kreskin's Lifetime Collection of Magic Apparatus and Gimmicks. 1950s – 2000s. An impressive and very large group of magic apparatus owned by Kreskin, the famous mentalist. Comprised of hundreds of props and gimmicks, the apparatus was primarily purchased over the course of 50 years from Tannen's Magic Shop of New York City. Included are dozens if not hundreds of effects from well-known and little-known manufacturers, including Abbott's, Vanishing Inc., Tannen's, Holden's, and many dozens more.
Among the effects included are Fogel's Bewitched, Bottled and Bewildered, a vintage Zombie floating ball, Bob Mason's Predicta-Total, a tabletop model of the Grant Shooting Through a Woman (lacking the glass plate holder), the Glance book test, Mental Epic (partially sealed in the original wrapper) and other slate tricks, Vision in Black by Ted Karmilovich, a fine magic set by Wittus Witt (and other small magic sets), boxed pocket tricks including lota vases, a Krug penetration frame, and more; and a large assortment of secret gimmicks, gimmicked cards, servantes, blindfolds, thumb writers, gimmicked coins, and a handful of decorative objects with a magic or wizard theme, as well as a quantity of Kreskin-branded items for distribution at his seminars.
Items have not been checked for completeness or functionality, but many include original instructions or packaging; a considerable quantity have never been used or tested in performance, or are mint sealed. The collection fills approximately twenty large plastic totes. Sold as-is. An extensive collection that SHOULD BE SEEN. Third-party transportation required.
