Vanishing Bird Cage. Las Vegas: Nielsen Magic, 1990s. A birdcage full of live doves vanishes from beneath a large cloth after being removed from the table. With original cloth. Minor splitting at corners and some paint retouching. With original padded case. Height 44" inclusive of cage, cage 19 x 12 ½ x 10 ½". Wear to finish from professional use, toning to cloth, but very good working condition. With replacement bars. Long considered the best version of this effect popularized by Channing Pollock.
