Group of ephemera including: 11 postcards, nearly all signed or inscribed to Howie Pyro. —— Two photographs of P-Orridge and Pyro. — One Throbbing Gristle handbill signed by P-Orridge and the band. — Four unsigned postcards. — A “certificate" by the “Disciples of the Devil" conferring the title of “True Believer" to Pyro. — Six envelopes addressed to Pyro from P-Orridge and their spouse, Jackie (Jacqueline Breyer, AKA Lady Jaye). — Part of a handbill signed by two members of The New York Dolls, Sylvain Sylvain and David Johansen (Johansen later performed under the name, Buster Poindexter, and portrayed the Ghost of Christmas Past in the film, Scrooged). Sizes range from approximately 8 ½ x 5 ½" to 4 x 6". Some general wear, soiling. Generally fine. P-Orridge was a musician, artist, occultist, and performance artist. They were the founder of the COUM Transmissions artist collective, and member of the industrial band, Throbbing Gristle, and other bands, including Thee Temple ov Psychik Youth, and Psychic TV.
