BUEHNER, Mark (b. 1959). “That night Fanny dressed in her best calico and went out to the garden to wait for her fairy godmother” from Fanny’s Dream, by Caralyn Buehner, Published by Dial Press, [1996]. Original oil over acrylic on masonite. Signed at lower left. Sight approximately 14 ½ x 29 ½”. Matted and framed under plexiglass. Frame size approximately 21 x 36 ¼”. Fine. This book was a clever take on the Cinderella story. Buehner is perhaps most famous for illustrating The Escape of Marvin the Ape (1992). Not examined out of frame.
