Blackstone, Harry (Henry Boughton). Harry Blackstone Sr.’s Vanishing Birdcage. Colon, MI: Abbott’s [?], ca. 1959. A red ribbon-bound brass birdcage, which vanished from between the hands of Harry Blackstone Sr. in two performances of this, one of his most famous feats, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, 1960 as part of the annual It’s Magic show. With attached pull. Good condition overall. Blackstone shared the stage with Billy McComb and five other acts on the annual It’s Magic Show in October 1960.
