FIRST EDITION, in the rare dust jacket designed by Robin Macartney, the architect and painter, who participated in archaeological expeditions with Christie. It was twice adapted into film, the first being in 1978 which won an Academy Award for Best Costume Design, and most recently in 2022 which was produced by Ridley Scott.
