Blindstamp lower left Copyrighted 1903 by E.S. Numbered “42-03” in negative (start of number may be cut off) on left and partial numbers 11 on right (cut off). Original Curtis Studio copyright sticker verso of backing paper. Image appeared as Plate 607 in Curtis’ Portfolio 17, “The North American Indian, Vol. 17. The Tewa. The Zun~i.” Image 7 ¾ x 5”; backing paper 13 ½ x 10; mat 18 ½ x 14 ¾”. Some shining around edges , minor evidence of adhesive verso showing through to the front. Very good condition. All proceeds benefit the Howard L. Gottlieb Foundation, which has been supporting nonprofit organizations in the fine arts since 2015.
