Elvis Presley Religious Census Card and Memorabilia Collection. An Army Religious Census card, yellow thin cardstock, with hand-written answers including name, military unit and grade, Army Service Number, and religious information. On the reverse, in another hand, Presley's church and pastor in Memphis are identified. 5 x 8". With 43 glossy promotional stills and wire photos (generally 8 x 10") of Presley, some related to his military service; an Elvis fan magazine, a West German bendable figure depicting Elvis, and signed photo of Mickie Finn. Provenance: military card and photographs gift to the present owner from Ron Coons of the Louisville Courier-Journal in 1966 (some photographs with “C-J & T." or wire stamps), accompanied by a letter from Coons and original mailing envelope.
