KABEL, John (American, 1879-1945). Group of 20 photographs and related ephemera. Includes 20 large photographs (generally 19 ½ x 14”) including fishing scenes and nature photography (most tropical and beaches scenes, probably Florida); a framed photo-illustration apparently removed from a publication; and a file folder containing letters to Kabel including from various publishers, newspapers, and commercial firms (bulk 1920s) related to use of his photographs, papers from the sale of Kabel’s negatives (1970s); and related papers.
