Multi-media original artwork (ink, watercolor, other color media) for a four-page comic story, after Dave Sheridan, who co-created Dr. McDope. Four pages matted and framed together. Visible area of each page approximately 11 x 8”, 278 x 203 mm; frame size approximately 30 ¾ x 24”, 782 x 617 mm. Not examined out of frame.
Siegel was a psychopharmacologist and was a research professor with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UCLA. This is one of his few forays into the world of comics. Ryan is one of the premier creators of rock posters, underground art, and Native American historical paintings. Ryan was an artistic partner of Dave Sheridan. This comic appeared in the April 1, 1983 issue of High Times magazine.
