Including drawings for the Coffee, Milk, and Sugar Trick, Clay Pipe effect, Flower Darts, Bonus Genius (vanishing doll), and a spring snake production. One stamped ink “Chicago Magic Company." Ink on artist's board, the largest 5 ½ x 7". Pinholes and expected wear. Drawn by Tarbell in his days before authoring his famous magic course, these images were used in the catalogs of the “old reliable" Chicago Magic Co., operated by H.S. Paine at 140 S. Dearborn Street. Tarbell illustrated many of the company's catalogs.
