(Protective Order of Ethical Magicians), a group sponsored by Hull to “protect and respect the good name of magic and magicians.”Although Hull denied any involvement in the publication of The Linx, it was later revealed that he was behind the journal, which was a lampoon of Annemann’s Jinx. Hull and Annemann swiped at each other in print for years.
