Trio of Modern Autograph Items, including: CLARKE, Arthur C. (1917-2008). Inscribed card on personal stationery. 7 November 1983. Small folding card on cardstock with Clarke's name embossed on front flap, and the address of “Leslie's House" on the inner flap. Unfolded size 6 x 4". Light wear occasional soiling, small tape mark to upper edge of verso of front flap. Fine. “To the Brittons - my congratulations on your 50th! Best wishes Arthur C. Clarke". 

And: BERNSTEIN, Leonard (1918-1990). Signed photo. [N.p., ca. 1980s]. Black and white photo signed by Bernstein in marker. 10 x 8". Fine. “2X Bruce [?] Leonard Bernstein".

And: PAVAROTTI, Luciano (1935-2007). Signed magazine cover. Newsweek: March 15, 1976. Magazine cover only (neatly excised from the rest of the issue) 11 x 8 ¼". Some edgewear and creasing, several pin-holes at corners. Good. Signed by Pavarotti in black marker just beneath his face. Pavarotti was perhaps the most famous opera tenor of the latter half of the twentieth century. From the collection of fantasy/sci fi collector Greg Phillips.
