Dated October 16, 1909 in Weiss’s hand and sent to his sister Carrie Gladys Weiss, his note below the sepia tone bust portrait states, “Denver Oct. 16 – 09 / To Gladys with best / love & wishes your Best / Bill.” Divided back. Corners clipped, closed tears. Provenance: passed to the current owner by descent from Houdini’s brother, William Weiss.
