Also known as Grant’s Tomb, located in New York City, is the final resting place of Grant and his wife, Julia Dent Grant, and is the largest mausoleum in North America. Dedicated on 27 April 1897, the structure is a classical domed building designed by architect John Duncan commemorating Grant’s military and political career.
