This file comes from Patricia Papangelis, who began working at the magazine in 1954 as Hugh Hefner's secretary and later became an executive editor in a decadeslong career at Playboy. Includes Vol. 1 (1953-54), featuring the iconic first issue of the magazine with Marilyn Monroe on the cover and centerfold as “Sweetheart of the Month" (Playmates were introduced in the second issue); two copies of Vol. 3 (1956); Vol. 4 (1957); Vols. 22 – 30 (each of these years is divided into three volumes including Jan. – April, May-August, and September-December), and Vol. 31 (Jan-April only).
