Tall one-color letterpress broadside playbill advertising a “grand fête and fancy fair” to take place at London’s Crystal Palace. The annual fundraising event to benefit the Royal Dramatic College featured musical and theatrical performances, a waxworks, Punch and Judy, magic by Professor Matthews, automata, a dog and cat show, fortune-telling, and spiral ascensionist Signor Ethardo (1825 - 1911), among other acts.
