Snake Basket. England: Jack Hughes, ca. 1970s. A woven basket contains a “live” snake which, after considerable comedic by-play, performs (or refuses to perform) what the magician commands, including rising from the basket with a colored ball resting in his head, launching a baby snake into the air, and appearing with a chosen card in his mouth. With all original parts including spring baby snake and set of red, white, and green balls.
