Houdini, Harry (Ehrich Weisz). Houdini Typed Letter. Dated Nov. 28, 1903, Houdini writes a lengthy missive to Arthur Buckle on varied subjects, including his eyesight: “my eyesight, which has never been any too good, keeps me from writing after the daylight…”; a magician named “Earle,” whose “feature trick is the wine and water, and makes it go very well”; and his current success, “Am breaking records just the same as ever and if it keeps up, why the managers will actually I think I am doing well.” One sheet crudely laid down to a piece of stiff card, with small losses at old intersecting folds. Fair. Stamped signature, "H. Houdini," in purple. Addendum - April 28, 2020: The signature has been identified as stamped, not autographed.
